Sleep deprivation is no joke, it has real consequences for the whole family. When your child isn’t sleeping it means NO-ONE is getting the rest they need. If this is happening in your household, your stress levels are likely through the roof.
If you feel like you’re not coping and you’re often reduced to tears, it’s time to get some help. Lack of sleep puts you at greater risk of depression, anxiety and physical health problems and it may also be affecting your child’s wellbeing and their development.
Whether you’re a new parent after advice, you’re struggling with your child’s sleep, or you’re the one with a sleep issue to fix, I’d love to help your family.
Where practicable, I will come to your home for the sleep consultation, and include a free assessment of your child’s sleep environment. This is free within 20km of West Auckland. For Auckland clients outside this radius, a home visit includes an extra $50 travel time fee. For clients outside the Auckland area (including international clients), consultations can be made via Zoom, WhatsApp or phone.
During our consultation we will go over sleep strategies, including all the possible outcomes, and chat about any questions and concerns you and your partner may have about your current situation and our plan for change.
Once you get started, I will be with you every step of the way, effectively holding your hand while you implement the plan. We will chat via the telephone throughout the first week, celebrating successes, discussing questions and dealing with any setbacks. By the end of this week you’ll probably be doing so well that we will only need to chat via email from then on, just to make sure things stay on course.
